2 Ways Royal Video Poker (Playtech)
Review of 2 Ways Royal (Playtech)Jacks or Better is one of the oldest and most popular games of Video Poker. The expected return on full pay or 9/6 Jacks or Better is 99.54% making this a very attractive game to play. Playtech recently introduced a variant of Jacks or Better called 2 Ways Royal. A Hi Royal Flush is the same hand as a natural Royal Flush, and also pays the same at 800 coins. A Lo Royal Flush is a special kind of Straight Flush consisting of 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the same suit. Unlike a normal Straight Flush, which pays 50 coins in full pay Jacks or Better, the Lo Royal Flush also pays 800 coins in 2 Ways Royal, the same amount as a natural Royal Flush. The payout on a Four of a Kind has also been increased, from 25 to 40 coins. A Full House and a Flush both pay less than expected playing full pay JOB. We don't have the software to evaluate this game in terms of expected return or variance, but we expect the variance of this game to be much higher than standard Jacks or Better. The 2 Ways Royal paytable is listed below:
2 Ways Royal also has a Double and a Half Double feature, a very good bet, but limited to winnings of $2,000 and less. Casinos where you can play 2 Ways Royal (Playtech)
