Microgaming's European Roulette is based on standard European roulette. The roulette wheel doesn't have a double zero, making the house edge for this game 2.70%. Microgaming currently doesn't offer the "en prison" (also called "la partage") rule, which could have resulted in an even lower house edge.

European roulette doesn't offer the 5 number line bet, the worse bet you can make when playing American roulette.
You may also place neighbor bets. The number of neighbors defaults to two, but you can increase that number. When you place a bet, and click on the neighbor button, the same amount of chips of your original bet is placed on all neighbors of that number. A neighbor of a number is a number that appears next to that number on the roulette wheel.
Table limits
Betting limits are not fixed. If you are a loyal player your betting limits might be relaxed, but you'll have to ask the casino about that. Also, betting limits may vary per type of bet (inside or outside).
Quick spin
If you like to speed up your game play, you can select the Quick Spin option. This will allow you to make considerable more bets per hour.
Bet tips
If you select the Show Bet Tips option, information about your bet will be displayed when you mouse over your bet.
Bet statistics
You can access your game statistics via the Stats button. A lot of information about your current session is recorded that might be useful to you. For example:
- Number of spins played;
- Percentage of winning spins;
- Length of your session;
- Average number of spins per hour;
- Highest three winning bets;
- Detailed info about your inside and outside bets.
